Divante is responsible for the new version of Solar.com.pl

Divante
5 May 2016

Divante, from the OEX Group, supported Solar, the company distributing women clothes, in creating a new version of their online shop. The service will be based on the technology of Magento 2.0 – the leading open source solution, dedicated to the eCommerce sector. The new platform release is planned for the Q3 of 2016.

The decision of changing the platform and migrating the store was taken together with the customer in response to the growing customer expectations and market trends. The previous solution has not followed the dynamic expansion of the brand – the technology began to limit the platform development and new implementations as well as Solar business goals.

Magento is a platform of unlimited extendibility, giving many marketing opportunities. The new technology offered by Magento 2, will allow us to respond quickly to our customers’ needs, such as collection orders in their own stores or integrate e-shop Loyalty program – said Marta Oleszak, Manager of Solar Online Shop.

The new platform will also be adapted to the latest trends – not only refreshed but also fully responsive design, compatible with mobile devices.

The change of technology will also allow faster development of the platform with additional features that facilitate adapting the service to the customer’s business requirements and improve service management through a more useful admin panel.

Magento 2.0 is a modern platform, offering, among other things, Omnichannel Order Management, a hosting in the cloud, and a very flexible approach to building an eCommerce. It does not surprise me that it is gaining popularity. I am glad that after the certification of our developers in Magento 2.0 last year, today we have the opportunity to build large systems based on the new platform – emphasizes Tomasz Karwatka, CEO of Divante.

The project began by analyzing the behaviours of users with tools like Mouseflow and Google Analytics. After the first stage, the analytical report was prepared, which became the basis for designing mock-ups. On the basis of them, the design studio, Creative Futu, designed the website layout.

The first and the most difficult stage of the implementation is the integration with the ERP system at the end of the client. In the area of procurement and products, it is two-sided integration. In the same time, Divante started to implement specific features to the application.

Divante and Solar are working together on the technological and marketing level for many years. The first joint implementation was a store based on PrestaShop, implemented in 2011. Divante was responsible for designing mock-ups of the service, graphic design, and implementation of PrestaShop project. The company dealt also with a number of development activities as well as marketing and promotion of the brand.
