Great eCommerce Shift towards New Technology – Divante Presents a Report.

The OEX Group’s Divante, one of Poland’s leading eCommerce technology providers, has published a comprehensive analysis of leading platforms that use headless architecture. This innovation allows business owners to implement necessary changes to their e-commerce in a faster, easier and cheaper manner.

 

The eCommerce market grows rapidly. In Poland, it went up by 30 percent last year, making it one of the fastest growing markets in Europe. These changes entail a rapid development of new technologies. In the highly competitive environment, any innovation that provides a better shopping experience can prove to be a valuable market advantage.

One of the strongest current trends is the development of headless architecture, which involves a complete separation of the part presented to users from its technical background. This ground-breaking approach to online store development allows a quick implementation of optimizations impacting the user satisfaction.

These issues are addressed in an eBook published by Divante – Headless toolkit: 14 essential tools for the future of composable commerce. The study contains more than 130 pages with an analysis of modern eCommerce platforms. The solution overview was preceded by an extensive introduction by Tomasz and Piotr Karwatek, Divante’s founders and e-commerce experts, concerning new IT solutions in the eCommerce market, headless architecture and the future of online sales.

The report highlights the role and numerous benefits of headless architecture, and in particular:

  • independence from technology – the front-end layer that a user sees can be developed in any given technology, making it easier to access developers,
  • greater dynamics and lower change costs – headless architecture allows quick experimentation and easy website implementation of optimizations,
  • faster change implementation that directly translate into user satisfaction – which means, among other things, an increased sale conversion, higher user loyalty and growing average shopping cart values.

The introduction of headless architecture paves the way for further innovations in eCommerce. The independence of the user experience part allows the development of omnichannel strategies, providing the same offer, message and service level  to the shoppers, irrespective of the channel: from mobile apps to IoT devices to voice assistants. It is also a step towards the so-called composable commerce, i.e. construction of solutions based on ready-made universal modules. The eBook presents 14 solutions that can be easily combined with each other to provide the required set of functionalities.
