Divante from the OEX Group has completed the third e-commerce project for the Ringier Axel Springer Polska publishing house. The service available at sklep.newsweek.pl complies with the Newsweek’s design and features sales support functionalities.
The Newsweek e-store is the third website provided by Divante to Onet-RASP Group. Previously, the company has implemented websites such as literia.pl and ksiegarnia.przegladsport.pl.
Sklep.newsweek.pl, like the previous projects implemented for Ringier Axel Springer Polska, has been supplemented by several functionalities that support both user experience and sales. Customers of the e-store can use features such as a reminder about the ending subscription with a proposal for its extension, information on a recommended product sent to the e-mail address or a reminder about the non-performance of a bank transfer payment.
As part of our e-commerce strategy, we use a twin-track approach. We create e-stores for individual brands of the publishing house (such as FAKT or NEWSWEEK), in which we primarily offer products marketed under these brands. At the same time, we are developing Literia branded store, which offers all the products offered by us and products from a rich offer of our trading partners – said Rafał Kamiński, E-commerce Director at Ringier Axel Springer Polska.
Divante and Ringier Axel Springer Polska have been cooperating since 2015. The OEX Group company developed a store platform based on the Magento Multistore mechanism, on the basis of which subsequent websites are created. The system enables the implementation of a new e-store even in just two weeks. The modularity of the solution enables quick preparation of another graphic design (labels on product views, sliders, headers, look & feel).
The companies plan to continue cooperation in the field of creating e-commerce websites for further publishing brands from the Ringier Axel Springer Polska portfolio.
Ringier Axel Springer Polska forms a part of Grupa Onet-RASP and is part of the international media company Ringier Axel Springer Media AG, which operates also in Hungary, Slovakia and Serbia. The portfolio of the publishing house includes: Fakt, Przegląd Sportowy, Newsweek Polska weekly magazine, Forbes business monthly magazine, computer and automotive magazines. The company also owns over 20 websites.
