The company from the OEX Group has presented the 6th edition of the report indicating the key directions of the e-commerce market development, both in the B2C and B2B areas. This year, the survey was attended by 150 representatives of the industry who commented on 70 trends.
According to the Divante report, in 2019, Business Intelligence, CRM, content marketing, CRM, Big Data and chatbots will play a key role in the e-commerce market.
For several years we have been observing the growth of Big Data, which at the same time drives the development of BI tools, customer relationship management or conversational commerce – said Tomasz Karwatka, CEO of Divante.
The eCommerce Trends report also presents trends that will have the greatest impact on the online sales market in the next 5 years. Among them are solutions such as Alexa, Big Data, extended reality or personalization.
In the e-commerce sector, we also observe the growing importance of mobile, especially in mature markets. Currently, this channel generates approximately 20 per cent of sales so the challenge for e-stores is to optimize conversion from this source – adds Tomasz Karwatka.
