Over one hundred Polish and foreign companies have recently declared their help to NGOs suffering from the effects of the coronavirus epidemic. It is a consequence of the action initiated by Tomasz Karwatka, CEO of Divante sp. z o. o. of the OEX Group.
‘Very often NGOs do not have a budget, knowledge or specialists to implement immediate digitalisation. Consequently, they are not able to react as efficiently as enterprises. I hope that owing to our initiative and the support of talented IT people NGOs will be able to better pursue their objectives in these difficult times. We would like to thank all those who answered our appeal’, said Tomasz Karwatka, CEO of Divante.
At TechToTheRescue.org, there is a list of IT, design, marketing and even law firms that offered their free of charge assistance. The list is open and is still growing. Firms that want to join the action may add their name to the list, specifying the type and scope of assistance offered as well as contact details. The information will be made available in a publicly accessible database that as of today can be used by NGO employees and volunteers from all over the world.
Firms declaring their assistance on TechToTheRescue.org consent to making their data public and shall render the services offered as soon as possible.
